Der Verlag O'Reilly ist wahrscheilich vielen oder allen von euch ein Begriff. 
Etwas weniger bekannt ist eventuell das umfangreiche Programm zur Unterstützung von Usergroups.

Der interessanteste Auszug aus der Mail, in der die Aufnahme bestätigt wurde, ist wahrscheinlich dieser hier:

Your group members receive a 35% discount on O'Reilly, No Starch, Paraglyph, PC Publishing, Pragmatic Bookshelf, Rocky Nook, SitePoint, or YoungJin products purchased directly from O'Reilly.
Your members are also entitled to a discount on O'Reilly conferences and tutorials.
